In a
speech on March 4, 2007 in Selma AL, Sen Barak Obama (IL-D also a presidential candidate) said, "Don’t think that fatherhood ends at conception."
I applaud Barak Obama and anyone who will stand up and speak truth to the root cause of issue. I truly believe that both fathers and mothers are needed to raise children. I believe that a strong family unit will do significantly more to stop poverty than the government could ever dream.
I also believe that something significant happens at conception. That conception is the start of a human life, which if stopped by abortion would be murder. If fatherhood shouldn't end there, as Obama says, that means he believes something significant has happened there also, right?
