I happened to catch about 10 minutes of <a href="http://www.therandirhodesshow.com/">Randi Rhodes</a> on Tuesday as I was doing some post processing. During this short moment, I heard Randi say two incorrect and misleading things:
1.) She said we invaded an UNARMED country. Randi, which UNARMED country did we invade?
2.) She said that oil companies, such as Exon Mobil have achieved record profits into the billions, nearly the TRILLIONS. Randi, Exon Mobil's profit was under $100 billion, which is less than 1/10th of a trillion. I wonder if Randi has also ever mentioned another item of truth being that Exon Mobil actually paid more in taxes than what their profit amount was?
Randi conducts her radio show with a lot of passion. She often screams or screeches as she displays her anger or frustration about whom she may be talking about. Very often, you will find her saying something demeaning about President George W. Bush. However, I find it quite unfortunate when Randi, with her passion, either spouts an outright lie or something extremely misleading such as the above.
